Open Day 2015
Open Day 2015; Saturday 6th June @ Lisneal College
There is no substitute for actually visiting an open day when choosing the right school for your child, I’m sure you parents/Guardians would agree.
So what should parents be looking for in the course of these visits?
“Parents now want to know about what benefits can be provided be for their son/daughter in any football programme, just like the education they receive at school” said Academy Director Paul Kee
Visiting training sessions and watching games can be useful for parents but not too often parents are offered a specially tailored open day, which has great advantages to understand the inner workings of Youth Development
At our open day you’ll have time to talk to all the stakeholders in the football programmes at Maiden City Soccer, what activities occur in our community and academy programmes – when these sessions take place and what you need to know is important
Kicking off at 9.30am, this will be the organisations first Open Day and will allow us to open our doors and welcome everyone either current members, new possible members or interested parties. We hope this event will help all find out more about what we have to offer – it’s more than just kicking a football around
Have you ever wanted to get involved with Maiden City Soccer Academy but were afraid to ask? Our Open Day is open to everyone from 4 to 17 and will also provide an ideal opportunity for prospective players and parents to meet with our coaching staff and discuss our programmes. Do you believe your son or daughter has the ability to play in the NIBFA Subway National League (U12 – U17) or the North West and Coleraine District League (U10 – U11)? Would you like to be included in a professional environment which promotes and encourages creativity and places the child at the centre of all we do? With 3 UEFA Pro Licence coaches overseeing our player development and a community programme in local schools and after school clubs that is unrivalled, Maiden City Soccer is at the forefront of player development in the North-West of Ireland
Our Open Day will give you the chance to meet and speak with our coaches, support staff, our current players and Academy graduates who have progressed into the professional and semi professional game. This is an excellent opportunity to see our coaching methodology and our holistic approach to long term player development.
Visitors will view our community and physical literacy programmes, goalkeeping, junior and senior academy coaching sessions, player performance and analysis, sports science with strength and conditioning, player recovery and recuperation, nutrition and video analysis.
Our coaching staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have throughout the day, as well as running a series of presentations including child welfare, talent promotion and sports nutrition and our highly qualified support staff will be demonstrating player recovery, injury rehabilitation, conditioning for football and much, much more.
June 6th also sees the launch of our exciting Foyle Cup and pre-season programme, as well as the much anticipated, highly talked about launch of our new training, playing and leisure range for players and parents.
Our partners Sports agency Boss U.K. will also be present to speak about work they deliver in the pro/ semi pro game as well as programme sponsor The Mellon Group
