ONeill’s Foyle Cup at Maiden City Soccer

We are delighted to announce that we are hosting the annual OβNeills Foyle Cup tournament at our grounds in partnership with Lisneal College School.
We are looking forward to welcoming all of you next week and hope everyone has a great week of football on the brand new 4G pitch.
As we prepare for a busy few days, we would like you all to get familiar with a couple of very important rules which will strictly apply during the Foyle Cup Week.
Our main priority will be ensuring that all kids playing on our grounds will have fun with no pressure or shouting coming from the sidelines – please be encouraging but refrain from giving kids instructions on how to play and simply let the coaches guide the players throughout the tournament.
Be kind, be patient and be respectful.
We canβt wait to see you all very soonβ½οΈ

PITCH SET-UP
Our 4G will be split into four sections during the 5-day tournament – PITCH A, PITCH B, PITCH C and PITCH D.
Additionally on the Thursday we will set two extra pitches on the grass pitch (beside the 4G) which will be labelled PITCH E and PITCH F.
The nets will be 7-aside goals followed by a marked out goalkeeping penalty area and box.
Our grass pitches will be lined out and same as above will apply.
