At Maiden City Soccer, our community sessions cater to children of all abilities, fostering an environment where they can not only learn new skills and make friends but, most importantly, have a blast! We’re dedicated to creating an atmosphere that not only enhances their technical abilities but also nurtures their social skills, setting them on a path of development in both football and life.

We host community sessions in 3 different areas:

• Lisneal Sports Grounds
• Aura Centre Letterkenny
• Diamond Centre Claudy
  

Sessions are open to non-members, players and first timers, for only £3 per session!

1 On 1s & Small Group Sessions

Here at Maiden City Soccer we are passionate about player development both socially and technically. We offer 1 on 1s with dedicated coaches to help players improve on their soccer abilities promoting confidence within players. These sessions offer a more personal approach to player development and is perfect for players who either struggle socially or simply want to stay on top of their game and want to go the extra mile.

Areas we work on:

• Short/Long Passing
• Shooting
• Ball Control
• Crossing
• Dribbling
• Coordination
• Agility
• Overall mentoring – Fundamentals/positional coaching

SCHOOLS AND NURSERYS

If you are a school or nursery and would like our team to call out for a session then get in touch! Our community coaches are dedicated to provide a fun session for children of all ages with sessions designed to help children with their movements, coordination, and balance all whilst maintaining the fun element at the same time. We have a range of drills and games to make sure that children thoroughly enjoy themselves at Maiden City sessions. We currently attend a range of primary schools and nursery’s within the Derry district and Strabane area so get in touch to book now!

MCS are simply outstanding in the programs they deliver to schools. The fundamental movement skills program delivered by MSC is exceptional.

The coaches deliver the program with such enthusiasm that they have every child fully engaged.

We have had the privilege of welcoming MSC into our school for a number of years now. working with every child in the school, from nursery to primary seven and regardless of ability the coaches make the sessions so enjoyable that every child takes part and has fun.

Holy Child Primary School

Maiden city have been coming to our nursery for 4 years. Their fundamentals skills programme has been invaluable supporting our nursery children’s gross motor skills through fun, organised progressive and planned weekly sessions.

Stephen and his team have a great way of motivating and engaging all the children at their own individual levels.

Our children all love a Tuesday because it’s fundamental skills day. We would highly recommend them to all schools.

 Bligh’s Lane Nursery School

Maiden City Soccer coaches have been providing coaching sessions for our pupils for a number of years.  The coaches are excellent, and they make the sessions fun for all children of different ages and abilities.
For many children, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, these extra-curricular activities are their only means of taking part in sporting events, which promote teamwork and develop social/leadership skills. 

We support the work that Maiden City Soccer are doing throughout our community, and we look forward to our continuing partnership with them.
